A Note From Our Founders

When we landed in Nevada City, California in 2012, we had a shared vision to create a community space where locals and travelers, young and old, could connect over beverages that gave you an uplifting social buzz -- without the altering effects of alcohol.
We started by humbly serving free tea in our downtown art gallery. Then we decided to get more creative with the kind of communal beverages we served to the growing  artistic community, and expanded our offerings to include traditional kava and cacao.
Using the ancient wisdom of plants with a little modern twist, we set out to craft and serve what we believe are the tastiest and most potent line of botanical mocktails on the market; and built out one of the country's first and finest elixir bars at our permanent location in Nevada City, pioneering a way to support creative culture and deep social connection. 
Connection and community is the heart of everything we do. We believe life is worth celebrating and we want to provide enjoyable herbal drinks in artistic environments that nourish our optimal health and our highest selves.
