Teas

Herbs offer incredible gifts—but they only work when you invite them into your body. Tea is one of the oldest and most effective ways to extract the healing essence of plants. Through water infusion, the medicine of each herb is gently drawn out and delivered in its purest form.
Make it a ritual. Slow down. Set an intention, say a prayer, and sip with presence. Let these plants bless your body, mind, and spirit—morning, noon, or night.

Most of our herbal teas are naturally caffeine-free (for example, Gynostemma is explicitly listed as caffeine-free). If you want caffeine, we make it obvious our Shakti Chai w/ Powerboost includes an herbal caffeine blend (yerba maté, kola nut, guarana, and green tea), and we also offer a Decaf version for a caffeine-free chai ritual.

Use near-boiling water for most herbal blends (roughly 205–212°F) and give the plants time to open Elixart recommends 5 minutes for a light cup, or longer steeps (even up to 8 hours) for a deeper, more full-strength infusion. For single-herb teas like Blue Lotus, start with 1–2 tsp per cup and explore multiple shorter infusions to taste the nuances.

Yes. Brew it a little stronger than usual, let it cool, then pour over ice. If you prefer a smoother, gentler taste, you can also do a longer steep and chill it our herbal brewing approach supports everything from quick infusions to extended steeping, depending on the ritual you want that day.

Blue Lotus is delicate and floral, with a soft, dreamy feel to it more “ceremonial flower tea” than a bold black tea. If you steep longer, it naturally gets sweeter, and multiple shorter infusions let you taste the subtle layers instead of pulling everything at once.

For daytime, choose teas that feel uplifting or contain gentle caffeine like Shakti Chai w/ Powerboost (yerba maté + green tea + kola nut + guarana). For evening, choose herbs traditionally used to unwind: Blue Lotus is specifically framed as an evening ally for meditation, intimacy, or sleep, and it’s featured in Elixart’s bedtime tea ritual guidance.
